Let me start out my saying that Anne needs to follow her intuition and not the person she does not attend to be, despite the pull of others. And she needs to stop beating herself up for being unique. The “Kitty” that she talks of is either her cat that she pretends to talk to or some imaginary person that she can finally express her feelings to. But, I do believe she is definitely flirting with Peter in both the play and the diary. These few pages really show Anne’s vivid writing and gives us a pinch of what is inside her head. I also have to agree with Anne on the fact that Mrs. Van Daan shows a lack of knowledge in almost all of her actions. But, I wonder what Mr. Dussel was doing sneaking in the food supply. These few pages have indeed been very powerful!!
My life is full of interests and fabulous events. In fact, just last night my extended family went to dinner to celebrate my Mom’s 40th birthday. Well, as I said in my first blog, something I enjoy is playing the piano. It is a favorite hobby of mine. I take lessons at the Georgia Academey of Music from Melissa Meghadadi. She has enormous talent, and has been an inspiring teacher over the course of five arduous years. Another interest of mine, if you haven’t figured this out, is Duke Basketball (check out the website for more facts). They are my favorite team as almost my complete family has attended Duke. My Dad was an All-Americain football player at Duke and went on to play professionally in the NFL. I would consider Duke because it is a highly intelligent school with a great athletic program. On another note, I love to try new sports, especially water sports. If you have had the opportunity to read my first blog, Here I am , I gave you a brief taste of what wind surfing is all about. Wind surfing takes a lot of patience, balance, and a positive attidude. This might sound crazy, but this method is the only way you can control the board without it controling you. This video shows you a little of how to windsurf.
Until the next installment best of luck to Duke in the tournament!!! Have a blessed Easter and enjoy your Spring Break!!
